Task Status Updates

Kite Suite holds the status, assignee, and due date for every task inside a project board. A Beam agent reads a task's current state as work progresses, such as a linked action being completed elsewhere, applies the project's approved rule for what marks a task done or blocked, and updates the task's status in Kite Suite accordingly. A task that stalls past its due date, one with conflicting status signals, or a dependency that would block downstream work gets flagged to a person to reassign or reschedule.

Overdue Deadline Alerts

Kite Suite keeps the due date set for each task and whether that date has passed. A Beam agent reads due dates across a project on a set schedule, applies the team's approved rule for what counts as at risk versus overdue, and posts a summary to the relevant channel or record. Routine reminders go out without anyone stepping in, but a task overdue past the team's grace period, or a cluster of related tasks slipping at once, gets routed to a person to reprioritize.

Workload Distribution Reporting

Kite Suite shows how many open tasks sit with each team member across active projects. A Beam agent reads these counts on a schedule, applies the team's approved threshold for what counts as an overloaded workload, and posts a summary when someone crosses that line. Day to day counts get reported without anyone touching assignments, but a person carrying well past the team's usual load, or a project with no clear owner for its open tasks, gets flagged for a person to rebalance.
