Read a new Jumpseller order and update stock levels the moment it's placed, so a sold-out product doesn't stay listed by mistake.
Order-Triggered Inventory Updates
Jumpseller records each order as it comes in, along with the products and quantities purchased. A Beam agent reads a new order the moment it is placed and applies the approved rule for updating stock, subtracting the quantity sold from the count held for that product. Where the resulting stock count is above zero, the listing stays active without changes. Where a product's stock reaches zero or falls below the approved reorder threshold, the listing is marked out of stock, and a person on the merchant's team decides whether to restock, remove the listing, or adjust pricing.
Order Status Progression Checks
An order in Jumpseller moves through stages such as paid, fulfilled, and shipped, and a customer expects that status to reflect what has actually happened. A Beam agent reads orders sitting in a given stage longer than the approved window, such as a paid order not marked fulfilled after a set number of days, and flags it for the fulfillment team. Orders still within the approved window are left alone. Orders that also show a mismatched shipping address or a payment held by the payment processor go straight to a person rather than a routine delay note, since those need judgment beyond a simple timer.
Product Listing and Price Consistency Checks
Jumpseller holds the price and details for every listed product, and a store with many products can end up with a listing that no longer reflects its intended price after a manual edit. A Beam agent reads product listings on a set cadence and applies the approved rule for what counts as a discrepancy, such as a price outside an expected range or a missing description. Listings within the approved range are left as published. Listings that fall outside it are flagged with the specific field in question and routed to a person to confirm before it is corrected.
