Job Stage Progression Tracking

JobNimbus tracks each job through defined stages, from an initial estimate through to completed work. A Beam agent reads a job's current stage and the date it last changed, and applies the approved rule for how long a job should sit in a stage before it needs attention, such as an estimate open for more than a week. Jobs still within that window are left alone. Jobs that have sat past the approved window are flagged in JobNimbus with a note showing how long they have been stuck, and routed to the assigned rep to decide whether to follow up, reprice, or close the job out.

Contact-to-Job Linking

A single contact in JobNimbus can be tied to more than one job over time, and keeping that link accurate matters for billing and history. A Beam agent reads a new job as it enters the system and checks the contact details against existing records for overlap on name, address, or phone number. Where the details line up with an existing contact, the job is linked to that record instead of a duplicate. Where the details are ambiguous, such as a similar name at a different address, the agent leaves the contact unlinked and routes it to a person to confirm.

Task Assignment on Stage Change

JobNimbus lets a task be attached to a job so the next action is clear to whoever is responsible for it. A Beam agent watches for a job's stage to change and applies the approved task list for that stage, such as scheduling a site visit after a signed estimate or preparing an invoice after work is marked done. The right task is created and assigned to the rep already tied to the job. Where a stage change does not fit any approved task pattern, such as a job moved backward to a prior stage, no task is created automatically and the job is routed to a manager to decide the next step.
