Field Standardization on Import

As a new record enters a connected database, a Beam agent sends fields like company name, address, or phone number to Interzoid's cleansing service and writes the standardized version back to the record, so downstream reports aren't split across inconsistent spellings of the same value. It applies the same standardization rule to every incoming record rather than fixing entries selectively. Where Interzoid returns a low-confidence match or can't resolve a value at all, the agent leaves the original field untouched and flags the record for a person to check rather than overwriting it with a guess.

Duplicate Record Matching

A Beam agent uses Interzoid's fuzzy matching to compare a new record against existing entries, catching duplicates that differ only in formatting, an abbreviated company name or a reordered address, that an exact match would miss. Records above an approved similarity score get merged or linked according to the rule the team configured. A pair that scores close to the threshold but isn't a clear match is left as separate records with a note flagging the possible duplicate, so a person decides whether to merge them instead of the agent doing it unprompted.

Scheduled Data Quality Notices

On an approved schedule, a Beam agent runs a batch of existing records through Interzoid's quality checks and compiles a short report of fields that failed standardization, missing values, malformed entries, unresolved duplicates, and sends it to the data owner instead of leaving quality issues to surface only when a report breaks. The notice lists the affected records so a person can jump straight to them. If a run turns up nothing worth reporting, the agent skips sending a notice that cycle rather than sending an empty one just to confirm the job ran.
