InfoLobby

Enter records into InfoLobby as source events happen, automating data entry like filing a completed order into the right table.

Record Entry From Source Events

InfoLobby holds business data as structured records inside tables the account defines, such as customers, orders, or inventory. A Beam agent watches a source system for an event the account cares about, for example a completed order or a customer sign-up, and enters the corresponding record into the correct InfoLobby table with the fields the schema expects. It checks for an existing record first to avoid a duplicate. Events with missing required fields, or that do not map cleanly to an existing table, are routed to a person before anything is entered.

Cross-Table Record Updates

When something changes, such as an order shipping or a customer updating their details, a Beam agent finds the corresponding record across the InfoLobby tables it affects and updates each one following the account's rule for what changes together. It leaves a note on the record showing what changed and from which source. It does not merge or delete records without an explicit rule covering that case. Conflicting updates, or a change touching a table the rule does not cover, are flagged to a person instead of applied on a guess.

Data Quality Flagging

A Beam agent can check InfoLobby records against the rule an account sets for completeness, such as a required field being blank or a value falling outside an expected format. It notes flagged records on a watch list rather than editing them outright, and adds a short reason so whoever looks at the list later knows what to check first. This lets a team catch gaps in a large table without a person reading every row by hand. Records with unclear ownership, or issues the existing rule does not describe, are passed to a person for a final decision rather than corrected by the agent on its own.
