Direct Image Uploads

A Beam agent uploads a screenshot or photo from a workflow, such as a bug report or a customer message, to Imgur under the account's approved settings. Once the upload finishes, it reads back the direct link Imgur provides rather than a preview page, so the image can be embedded wherever the request calls for it. It does not compress or edit the file first. Uploads that fail, come back oversized, or use a file type Imgur rejects are routed to a person instead of retried without limit.

Album and Gallery Filing

Where an account groups uploads by project or case, a Beam agent adds each new image to the album that fits, so related visuals stay together for whoever looks at them later instead of sitting as loose links. It follows the naming and grouping pattern the account already uses rather than inventing a new structure of its own. This saves someone from sorting scattered uploads by hand after the fact, and keeps a project's visuals in one place a teammate can find without asking where a file went. Images that do not clearly fit an existing album, or that need a new one opened, are left for a person to file.

Link Embedding in Records

After Imgur returns a link, a Beam agent places it into the destination record, such as a ticket reply, a document, or a spreadsheet cell, following the format the account's template expects. It checks the link resolves before marking the task done, and notes which upload the link points to so nobody has to guess later. It does not change how the image displays or its privacy setting, and it does not edit the record beyond adding the link itself. Requests where the destination is unclear, or where the link fails after upload, are handed to a person to place manually instead.
