Direct Image Upload

A Beam agent takes a photo or screenshot attached to a workflow, such as a support ticket or a form submission, and uploads it to imgbb under the account's settings. It waits for the upload to finish and keeps nothing more than the resulting URL, which it then places wherever the request needs it, such as a reply or a record field. It does not resize or edit the file first. Uploads that fail, exceed a size limit, or use an unsupported file type are routed to a person instead of retried indefinitely.

Public Link Delivery

Once imgbb returns a URL for an uploaded image, a Beam agent inserts that link into the destination the request specified, for example a ticket reply, a shared document, or a spreadsheet cell, following the account's template for how links should appear. It confirms the link resolves before marking the task complete. It does not alter the image's visibility settings on its own. Requests where the destination is ambiguous, or where the link fails to resolve after upload, are left for a person to place manually.

Album Filing

Where an account organizes uploads into albums, a Beam agent adds each new image to the album that fits the project, client, or date the account's rule specifies, rather than leaving uploads scattered. This keeps related images grouped for whoever needs to find them later without a person sorting through individual links. The agent applies the naming pattern already in use for that account. Uploads that do not clearly fit an existing album, or that need a brand new album opened, are flagged to a person to file instead.
