Hippo Video records watch time, replays, and click throughs for every video a prospect opens. A Beam agent reads this engagement data on a schedule or webhook trigger and applies an approved threshold, for example a full rewatch of a pricing section or three replays of a demo clip. When the rule fires, the agent updates the contact record with an engagement score and notifies the assigned rep so follow up happens while interest is high. Ambiguous signals, such as a viewer whose playback data comes back partial or unclear, get routed to a human for judgment instead of an automatic response.

Interactive Call to Action Overlays

Hippo Video lets senders embed clickable overlays, forms, and calendar links inside a playing video. A Beam agent watches for these in video click events and, where account permissions allow it, applies the customer's approved rule, such as adding a lead to a nurture list after a calendar link click or updating a deal stage after a form submission inside the video. The agent writes the outcome back to the linked contact record and notifies the owner. Clicks that do not map cleanly to an existing contact or deal, or that look accidental, are routed to a human to confirm before any record changes.

Personalized Video Messaging

Hippo Video generates one to one videos with a recipient's name, company, or account details pulled into the frame. A Beam agent checks a CRM field, such as deal stage or renewal date, and, where the rule allows, selects the matching prerecorded template for that contact through the platform. It records what went out and when directly on the contact timeline. When no template matches the account's stage, or the underlying CRM data is incomplete, the agent routes the account to a human to pick and send a message manually instead.
