Real-time vehicle data feeds

Gryd provides a live feed of vehicle data, such as location or sensor readings, rather than a static export a person would otherwise pull manually. A Beam agent subscribes to that feed for the vehicles an account has connected and updates the matching record in a fleet or asset management system as new data arrives, so the record reflects the vehicle's current state instead of its state from the last manual check. Where a vehicle stops reporting data or a reading falls well outside its normal range, the agent does not silently update the record and instead notifies a technician, since a data gap or an outlier reading can point to a real problem worth a person's attention.

Developer-facing API access

Gryd exposes its vehicle data through an API built for a developer to call from their own application, rather than only through a dashboard a person checks manually. Where an account has connected that API, a Beam agent can call it as one step in a larger workflow, such as pulling a vehicle's current data before updating a maintenance ticket or a delivery record elsewhere. This keeps the vehicle data tied to whatever system the business already uses to track that ticket or delivery instead of requiring someone to check two separate places. Any API response the agent cannot map cleanly to an existing record is left for a person to match manually.

Anomaly flagging on sensor readings

Because Gryd's data reflects a vehicle in real time, a Beam agent can compare each new reading against a normal range the account owner has approved for that vehicle or fleet, rather than treating every reading as equally routine. Where a reading sits within that expected range, the agent files it as part of the vehicle's ongoing record without further action. Where a reading falls outside the range, such as an unusual location or a sensor value that looks off, the agent flags the vehicle and notifies whoever the account has designated for that alert, rather than letting a possible fault pass through as routine data.
