File Grain's call notes and next steps into HubSpot so agents open follow-up tasks and flag deals with no clear owner.
Automatic call transcription and notes
Grain joins a scheduled call, records it where account settings allow, and produces a written summary along with a transcript once the call ends. A Beam agent watches for that finished summary and reads out the next steps Grain identified, rather than a person combing back through the recording. Where those next steps map cleanly to a known deal or contact record in HubSpot, the agent opens the matching task and assigns it to the account owner on file. Steps that do not reference a clear owner, or that touch a deal the agent cannot find in HubSpot, get left for a rep to sort out instead of being guessed at.
Highlight reel creation
Grain can cut a call recording down to the specific moments a team marks as worth keeping, rather than leaving the full recording as the only record. A Beam agent can watch for newly created highlight clips and post them into the Slack channel tied to that deal or project, so the relevant team sees the moment without rewatching the whole call. This keeps context moving to the people who need it without a person manually clipping and forwarding video. Where a highlight touches a sensitive topic, such as pricing pushback or a complaint, the agent notifies a manager directly instead of posting it to a wider channel.
Cross-platform note distribution
Once Grain finishes a call, its notes can be filed into more than one destination at once, such as a Slack channel and a HubSpot record, according to how the account is configured. A Beam agent reads the finished note and checks it against the deal or contact it is tied to before filing a copy into the matching HubSpot record, keeping the CRM aligned with what was actually discussed. If Grain cannot match the call to an existing HubSpot record, the agent holds the note back and asks a rep to confirm the right record rather than filing it against the wrong deal.
