Draft PaLM 2 replies from an approved prompt template, then hand the output to a person before anything goes live.
Text Generation
PaLM 2 converts a short brief into full text, drafting emails, summaries, or product descriptions from a prompt. A Beam agent picks up a new request, such as a support ticket needing a reply or a content brief in a queue, and passes the relevant details to PaLM 2 using an approved prompt template. The model's draft gets written back into the linked ticket, document, or field. Output that misses a required keyword, drags on too long, or reads off topic is routed to a person to edit or approve, so nothing goes out without a check where the account's permissions call for one.
Code Generation
PaLM 2 can write short code snippets and functions from a plain language description of the task. When an engineering ticket or spec asks for a small utility, a Beam agent reads the description, applies an approved prompt template scoped to the project's language and style, and posts PaLM 2's draft as a comment on the ticket or a linked branch. The agent does not merge or execute anything itself. Snippets that touch sensitive files, exceed a size limit, or fail a basic lint check are routed to an engineer to rewrite, test, and approve before they reach the codebase.
Conversational Replies
PaLM 2 holds an extended conversation, keeping context across several exchanges rather than answering one prompt at a time. A Beam agent reads the recent message history from a chat or support thread, applies an approved tone and topic template, and posts PaLM 2's reply back into that thread. Replies stay within the topics the template allows. Conversations that mention a refund, a complaint, or a topic outside the template's scope are handed to a person to continue, along with the exchange so far, so the customer is not left with an answer nobody checked.
