Draft Response Generation

Gemini can read an incoming request, such as a support message or an internal question, and write a response in plain language. A Beam agent sends the request's text to Gemini along with any context a team has approved sharing, receives a draft reply, and posts that draft into the ticket or thread as a suggestion rather than a sent message. A person still reads and sends every reply. Requests touching legal, medical, or financial specifics, or ones a policy already marks as sensitive, get no draft at all and go straight to a person to answer from scratch.

Document Summary Generation

Gemini can take a long document, transcript, or thread and produce a short summary of what it contains. A Beam agent reads a document once it is uploaded or a meeting transcript once it is available, sends the text to Gemini for a summary, and posts that summary alongside the original in the system it came from, such as a project tool or shared drive. It labels every summary as AI generated. Documents containing figures that need an exact check, or content a policy marks as confidential, are summarized only if the account's permissions already allow Gemini access to that content.

Image and Audio Content Description

Gemini can look at an image or listen to an audio clip and describe what it contains in words. A Beam agent sends a newly uploaded photo or voice note to Gemini, gets back a plain language description, and adds that description as a caption or note in the system where the file lives, such as a shared drive or support ticket. It only adds a description, it does not act on what the description says. Files where the description comes back uncertain, or where the content appears to need a person's judgment, are left without a caption for someone to describe by hand.
