BigQuery Data Queries

Google Cloud's BigQuery holds a business's structured data at scale, from usage logs to sales tables. A Beam agent executes a query a customer has already approved, such as listing accounts past a threshold, on a schedule or when another system calls for it, then writes the matching rows into the destination a team already uses, like a spreadsheet or CRM. It reads only from tables the account's permissions allow. Queries that return no clear match, hit a permission boundary, or need a new query written from scratch go to a data engineer, since query design stays a human task.

Cloud Storage Object Handling

Cloud Storage holds the files a business keeps in Google Cloud, from exported reports to uploaded documents. A Beam agent watches a bucket for new objects that match an approved pattern, such as a daily export landing in a folder, and moves or copies the file to where a downstream process expects it. It checks the file name and location against the rule before acting. Files that arrive in the wrong format, exceed an expected size, or come from an unrecognized source get left in place, and someone on the cloud team gets a note to sort out what happened.

IAM Access Changes

Google Cloud's IAM system controls who can reach which project and resource. A Beam agent reads a request for access, such as a new hire needing a specific role, checks it against the access policy a security team has approved, and applies the matching permission if the request fits an existing pattern exactly. It never widens a permission beyond what the policy already allows. Requests for a role that is not on the approved list, or that touch a sensitive project, are sent to the security team to grant or deny, since access decisions outside the pattern stay a human call.
