Enroll a subscriber into a GetResponse campaign, automating marketing follow up like pausing messages for contacts who unsubscribe or bounce.
Autoresponder Sequence Enrollment
GetResponse moves a subscriber through a sequence of scheduled messages once they join a list. A Beam agent reads a new signup or tag added to a contact record, and adds that contact to the approved sequence in GetResponse once the qualifying condition a team has agreed is met, such as completing a signup form. Contacts already in a conflicting sequence are held back rather than being double enrolled. Deciding what the sequence content says, or whether to start a new one, stays with the marketing team, not the agent.
Bounce and Unsubscribe Handling
A subscriber who bounces or unsubscribes needs to stop receiving further messages and often needs a status change elsewhere too. A Beam agent reads bounce and unsubscribe events from GetResponse on a schedule, and applies an approved rule, such as removing the contact from active sequences and marking the linked record as inactive. Repeated hard bounces on an otherwise valued account get flagged to a person rather than the contact being dropped silently. The agent does not decide policy on what counts as inactive: that threshold is set by the marketing team in advance.
List Segment Membership Updates
GetResponse lists can hold segments based on tags, activity, or fields that determine which campaign a contact sees. A Beam agent reads a qualifying change on a contact record, such as a purchase or a form field update, and adds or removes the contact from an approved segment inside GetResponse accordingly. This keeps segment membership current without someone checking records by hand. New segment definitions, or a change to which campaign a segment maps to, stay a decision the marketing team makes, and the agent only executes the mapping already agreed.
