Update candidate stages in Gem, automating recruiting coordination like nudging requisitions forward and recording interview feedback for recruiters.
Candidate Stage Updates
Gem holds each candidate's position across sourcing, first round calls, interview, and offer stages within a requisition. A Beam agent watches for a stage change or a set number of days without movement, reads the candidate and requisition record, and applies a recruiter approved rule, such as advancing a candidate once feedback is entered or flagging an owner when a candidate sits untouched. The update writes back to Gem and the owning recruiter gets a note in their queue. Decisions like rejecting a candidate, extending an offer, or renegotiating terms stay with the recruiter, not the agent.
Requisition Aging Alerts
Open requisitions in Gem carry an age and a status that recruiting leaders check to spot roles losing momentum. A Beam agent reads requisition age, candidate count, and last activity date on a schedule, and applies an approved threshold, for example flagging any requisition open past an agreed number of weeks with fewer than a set number of active candidates. A note goes to the hiring manager and recruiter with the relevant numbers attached. Whether to pause a search, change the brief, or add sourcing support remains a decision for the recruiting team, not something the agent resolves.
Interview Feedback Reminders
Interviewers in Gem are asked to leave structured feedback after each stage, and missing feedback slows a pipeline down. A Beam agent reads scheduled interviews against submitted feedback forms, and once a set number of hours pass without an entry, sends a reminder to the interviewer through the channel the team has approved. Repeated silence gets escalated to the hiring manager instead of the agent chasing indefinitely. The agent never writes feedback content itself: judging a candidate's answers and deciding whether they pass a stage stays entirely with the human interviewer.
