Invoice Issuance and Status Updates

Finmei generates customer invoices and keeps a status for each one, from draft through paid. A Beam agent starts a new invoice when an approved order or service is marked complete elsewhere, reads the customer and line item details from that source, and creates the invoice in Finmei under the account's approved billing terms. The agent then checks invoice status on a schedule and updates the originating record once Finmei shows the invoice paid. Invoices that go unpaid past the agreed terms, or that need a discount or write off, get routed to a human before any change is made.

Expense Claim Filing

Finmei lets a business file expense claims with receipts attached and route them for approval before reimbursement. A Beam agent begins a claim when a receipt or expense record arrives from an inbox, upload folder, or connected card feed, reads the amount, vendor, and category, and files the claim in Finmei under the approved expense policy. The agent notifies the employee once the claim is filed and updates the source record with the claim reference. Claims that exceed policy limits, are missing a receipt, or fall into an unclear category get routed to a human for approval.

Payment Reminder Scheduling

Finmei can schedule reminder notices tied to an invoice's due date so unpaid balances get a nudge without a person watching each one by hand. A Beam agent acts on a recurring schedule, reads which invoices in Finmei have passed their due date, and sends the next reminder step under the account's approved collections rule. The agent notes each reminder against the invoice record. Accounts that reach the final reminder stage without payment, or that dispute a charge, get routed to a human to decide on next steps.
