Update a Fibery entity once its linked task closes, then notify the owner of whatever it feeds into, keeping records aligned without a teammate copying the change across documents.
Linked Entity Updates
A Fibery workspace treats a document, a task, and a data record as connected entities, so a change in one reflects in another. A Beam agent watches for the status change a team has approved as a trigger, such as a task marked complete, and updates the linked entity it feeds into, whether that's a parent initiative or a related document, notifying the owner. This keeps related work aligned without someone checking every linked item by hand. Updates touching an entity across more than one workspace, or a link the account marks uncertain, are left for a person to apply.
Custom Entity Type Workflows
Fibery lets a team define its own entity types, such as a feature request or a customer account, each with its own fields and states, rather than a fixed task format. A Beam agent reads the state of one of these custom entities against the workflow rule a team has approved for that type, and moves it forward, such as marking a feature request ready for review once its linked design task closes. This keeps a custom process moving the way a team defined it. Entities whose next state isn't clear, or that carry conflicting field values, are left for a person to move.
Cross-Workspace Reporting Views
Fibery can pull entities from across a workspace into a single view, such as every open item tied to a customer account regardless of which team owns it. A Beam agent refreshes that view on a schedule, reads which entities have changed since the last check, and updates a summary record or notifies whoever watches that view, so a report reflects current status without someone rebuilding it. This gives a team a current picture of work spread across entity types. Views returning an unexpectedly large change set, or that include an entity type outside the approved report, are flagged for a person to check first.
