End-of-Day Pricing

EODHD provides end-of-day price history for stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, and bonds across global markets. A Beam agent calls this feed on a schedule, reading the latest close and adjusted figures, and applies the approved rule for updating a watchlist or a model whenever a new value lands. It writes the refreshed figures back into the sheet or dashboard the team already uses, so nobody has to check prices by hand each morning. Gaps in the feed, or a security that stops returning data, get flagged for a person to check before the figures are relied on.

Fundamentals Data

Beyond prices, EODHD returns company fundamentals such as reported financials for the same range of instruments. A Beam agent pulls this data on the schedule the customer sets, applies the approved rule for which line items matter for a given report, and updates a tracking sheet or model with the new figures. It notes when a fundamental has changed materially since the last pull so the team can see what moved. A fundamental that looks inconsistent with a prior period gets routed to a person to confirm before it's used in a report.

Historical Series Lookup

EODHD holds long-running historical series for individual securities, which supports pulling a specific date range rather than only the latest value. A Beam agent requests the range a report calls for, reads back the series, and applies the approved rule for filling it into a template or backtest input. It fills gaps in the requested range where the market was closed rather than treating them as missing data. A request for a security with no historical coverage, or a range with unexplained gaps, gets routed to a person to check before the report goes out.
