Milestone-based testimonial requests

Endorsal issues a testimonial request when a customer record hits a milestone the account has set, such as a renewal date or a set number of days as a customer. A Beam agent checks customer records against that milestone rule daily, kicks off the request through Endorsal once a match is found, and marks the record so the same customer isn't asked twice. A customer flagged as unhappy elsewhere in the account, such as an open support complaint, is skipped and left for a person to consider asking later instead. The agent never removes that skip flag on its own.

Response collection and formatting

Endorsal receives a customer's written or video response and stores it against that customer's record once submitted. A Beam agent checks for new responses, formats the text response against the template the marketing team approved, such as trimming it to a set length, and saves the formatted version alongside the original. A response mentioning a competitor, a specific dollar figure, or anything the account has flagged as sensitive is held rather than formatted automatically. That flagged response, and the original wording, are passed to a person to check before any version of it moves further toward publication.

Approval routing before display

Endorsal records whether a testimonial has been approved for display on the site, separate from simply having been collected. A Beam agent notifies the marketing team once a new testimonial is ready to check, following the approval list the account has set up, and updates the display status only after that approval is recorded in Endorsal. Nothing formatted by the agent goes live without that recorded approval, even where the response looked straightforward. Where a customer later asks for a testimonial to be removed, the agent turns off its display status right away and flags the request for a person to confirm.
