Bulk list cleaning

EmailListVerify checks an uploaded list in bulk and returns a status, valid, invalid, or unknown, for each address. A Beam agent submits a list exported from the CRM or email tool, waits for the batch to finish, and removes addresses marked invalid before the cleaned list goes back to marketing, following the account's approved cutoff. Addresses returned as unknown, rather than clearly valid or invalid, are kept separate and flagged for a person to decide on rather than dropped by default. The agent notes how many addresses were removed so the change is traceable after the fact.

Duplicate and typo detection

EmailListVerify flags likely typos in common domains, such as a misspelled gmail address, and duplicate entries within an uploaded list. A Beam agent applies the correction EmailListVerify suggests only where the account has pre-approved automatic typo fixes, and otherwise leaves the address as submitted, flagging it instead for a person to correct by hand. Duplicate entries are merged automatically when the contact details otherwise match exactly. Where two entries share an address but differ elsewhere, in name or company for instance, the agent routes them to a person rather than guessing which record is current.

Ongoing list rechecking

EmailListVerify can recheck a list that was verified previously to catch addresses that have since gone bad, such as an inbox that's been abandoned. A Beam agent carries out this recheck on the schedule the account sets, such as before each quarterly send, and updates each contact's status with the new result. Addresses that flip from valid to invalid since the last check are removed following the same cutoff used for the original clean. A sharp jump in the invalid share compared to the prior check is flagged for a person, since that pattern can point to a list problem rather than natural decay.
