Inventory Level Updates

Ecwid tracks stock counts per product and variant so a store does not sell what it no longer has. A Beam agent reads a sale or restock event from a connected system, such as a warehouse tool or a second sales channel, applies the customer's rule for how that event affects count, and writes the updated quantity to the matching Ecwid product. Products that reach zero, or where the connected system reports a count that does not reconcile cleanly with Ecwid's own record, are flagged for a person to check before further updates apply.

Order Status Updates

An Ecwid order moves through statuses such as new, shipped, and delivered as fulfillment progresses. A Beam agent reads fulfillment updates from a connected shipping or warehouse system and writes the matching status change to the order in Ecwid, following the customer's rule for which event maps to which status, so a shopper sees an accurate order state without a person updating it by hand. Orders with a status change that does not match an expected sequence, such as delivered before shipped, are held for a person to review.

Product Detail Syncing

A product's price, description, or availability sometimes needs to change across every place it is listed, and Ecwid holds one version of that record for the store. A Beam agent reads an approved change from another system, such as a pricing tool, and writes it to the matching Ecwid product following the customer's rule for which fields are allowed to update this way. Changes to fields the rule does not cover, or products it cannot confidently match, are left untouched and routed to a person.
