Visual Collections

A collection in Dropmark groups related links, files, and notes together, like a visual board rather than a folder tree. A Beam agent receives a new item, whether it's a shared link, an uploaded file, or a quick note, matches it to the collection a team has designated for that source, and adds it there with whatever tags come attached. This keeps reference material together without someone dragging items into the right board by hand. Items that don't clearly match an existing collection's rule, or that arrive without enough context to categorize, are set aside for a person to file properly.

Link and File Saving

Dropmark accepts links and files from a browser extension or a direct upload, storing a preview alongside the source so a team can scan a collection visually instead of opening each item. A Beam agent watches an approved source, such as a shared inbox or a form submission, saves the link or file into Dropmark, and confirms the save worked before marking the source item handled. This removes the copy and paste of moving material from where it arrives to where a team keeps it. Duplicate items, broken links, or oversized files are reported to a person instead of being retried silently.

Collection Sharing and Access

A Dropmark collection can be shared with specific people or made public with a link, controlling who can add to or just view a set of material. A Beam agent applies the sharing setting a team has approved when a new collection is created, such as inviting a fixed list of collaborators, and updates access if someone is added to or removed from the underlying team roster. This keeps sharing consistent without someone re-checking permissions on every new board. Requests to make a collection public, or to share it outside the organization, are handed to a person to approve before access changes.
