Correct names, emails, and company fields on a CRM contact and write the values back to the record they came from, automating the data cleanup a sales ops team would otherwise do row by row.
Contact Data Enrichment
Dropcontact fills in gaps on a CRM contact, such as a missing job title, company size, or a verified professional email, by matching the record against external data sources. A Beam agent flags contacts missing key fields, passes them to Dropcontact for enrichment, and writes the returned values back onto the CRM record once they pass the account's confidence threshold. This keeps a CRM usable for segmentation and outreach without someone looking up each contact by hand. Matches Dropcontact returns with low confidence, or fields that conflict with data already entered by a rep, are left for a person to confirm before overwriting anything.
Duplicate Contact Merging
The same person often ends up as two or more contact records in a CRM, entered at different times from different sources. A Beam agent passes the CRM's contact list through Dropcontact's matching rule, finds pairs that meet the account's similarity threshold, and merges the duplicate into the primary record, keeping the more complete or more recently updated fields. This reduces the double counting that skews pipeline reports and confuses reps working the same account. Pairs that fall below the confidence threshold, or that involve a contact tied to an open deal, are queued for a person to check before any records are combined.
Name and Email Formatting
Contact fields entered by hand often carry inconsistent capitalization, extra whitespace, or a personal email where a work address belongs. A Beam agent submits a new or edited contact to Dropcontact, applies the formatting and correction rules a team has approved, such as standard capitalization or replacing a personal domain with a verified work email, and writes the cleaned values back into the CRM field. This keeps records consistent for mail merges and reporting without a rep re-typing anything. Corrections Dropcontact cannot make with confidence, or fields it returns as unresolved, are left in their original state for a person to fix manually.
