Template-Based Document Assembly

Docmosis merges live data into a pre-built Word or PDF template rather than generating layout from scratch. A Beam agent triggers when a record reaches a defined stage, for example a deal closing or an order shipping, reads the relevant fields from the source system, and fills the matching template with those values. The agent then saves or delivers the finished document to the right folder or contact. Where a template field is missing data, a mapping fails, or the output looks malformed, the agent stops and routes the case to a person instead of guessing at content.

Word and PDF Output Formats

Docmosis can render the same template as either a Word file or a PDF, which matters when one audience needs an editable document and another needs a fixed record. A Beam agent picks the output format based on a rule set with the request, such as PDF for signed contracts and Word for drafts still under negotiation. It reads the requester's intent from the triggering record, generates the file, and stores or sends it accordingly. When the requested format is unclear or a template does not support both outputs, the agent routes the request to a human for a manual decision.

Data Merge From Connected Systems

Beyond static templates, Docmosis pulls structured data, tables, and repeating sections from an external source at merge time, so a single template can produce many distinct documents. A Beam agent gathers the source records, for example line items on an order or clauses tied to a contract type, and passes them into Docmosis so the merge reflects current data rather than a stale copy. It notifies the relevant team once the document is ready. Where the source data is incomplete or a repeating section fails to populate correctly, the agent escalates the record to a human for review before delivery.
