Route support tickets in DevRev to the matching engineering owner and escalate anything unclassified for a human to triage.
Ticket to Owner Routing
DevRev links each incoming support conversation to a category, such as bug, feature request, or question, along with any tags the team has set up. A Beam agent reads a new ticket's category and applies the customer's approved routing rule to match it to the right engineering group or owner, then updates the ticket with that assignment in DevRev. A ticket fitting a known category moves through without delay. A ticket with no clear category, conflicting tags, or an unclear description gets set aside for a person to triage instead of being guessed at, since a wrong assignment costs more time than it saves.
Customer Reported Issue Status
When engineering marks a linked issue as in progress, blocked, or resolved in DevRev, a Beam agent reads that status change and applies the customer's approved rule to notify the reporting customer or account owner through the linked channel. A routine change, such as resolved, reaches the customer automatically once the rule matches. A change tied to a high priority account, or an issue reopened after being marked resolved, gets flagged to a human on the support side instead of a message going out automatically. The agent does not change an issue's status itself; it only reads and reports on what engineering has set.
Feature Request Tally
Customers and users raise feature requests through DevRev, and each one can carry tags for the product area and how many people have asked for it. A Beam agent reads new requests against the customer's approved criteria, such as a tag matching an active roadmap area, and updates a running tally or summary for the product team. A request that matches an existing tally gets folded into it automatically. A request that doesn't fit any current tag, or that comes from a flagged high value account, gets routed to a product manager to look over and categorize by hand.
