Gather async standup replies and kudos messages inside DailyBot, automating the recap and reminder pings a team lead would otherwise post by hand.
Async Standup Check-Ins
DailyBot prompts team members in chat to answer standup questions on their own schedule instead of joining a live call. A Beam agent reads submitted check-in replies and, where a reply is missing past the team's approved deadline, sends a follow-up reminder to that person. Once all replies are in, the agent compiles them into the recap format the team already uses and posts it to the channel. Replies flagged as blockers needing attention are routed to a person rather than folded quietly into the recap.
Kudos and Milestone Recognition
DailyBot lets teammates post kudos and keeps a record of work anniversaries and other milestones inside chat. A Beam agent reads new kudos messages and milestone events and checks them against the team's approved recognition rule, such as a minimum tenure required for an anniversary shoutout to go out. Once a milestone clearly qualifies under that rule, the agent posts the recognition message to the right channel on schedule. Kudos that reference a sensitive topic, or milestones that don't clearly meet the approved criteria, are routed to a person before anything is posted publicly.
Chat-Based Routine Reminders
Teams set up recurring reminders in DailyBot for routines like weekly retros or expense submissions. A Beam agent reads which reminders are due, confirms the recipient list against the current team roster, and posts the reminder to the right channel or person at the scheduled time. Where a recipient has left the team or changed roles, the agent holds that reminder rather than sending it to the wrong person. Roster mismatches and requests to change a reminder's schedule are routed to a person to update.
