Contribution Confirmations

A Daffy account records every contribution made in cash, stock, or crypto before it's invested and later granted to a charity. A Beam agent reads new contribution confirmations and matches each one against the expected amount and donor on file, applying the team's approved matching rule. Once matched, the agent updates the internal giving record so finance has a current view without waiting on a manual entry. Contributions that don't match an expected amount or donor, or that arrive in an unfamiliar asset type, are routed to a person to confirm.

Grant Recommendations to Charities

Members recommend grants from their Daffy balance to a chosen charity, which Daffy then verifies and pays out. A Beam agent reads a submitted grant recommendation and checks the charity against the organization's approved list before the internal ledger is updated to reflect the pending grant. Where the rule allows it, the agent notifies the finance team once the grant is confirmed as paid. Grants to a charity not on the approved list, or above an approved amount threshold, are routed to a person before the ledger entry is finalized.

Tax Receipt Records

Every contribution to a Daffy account generates a tax receipt tied to that donor, which finance later needs at reporting time. A Beam agent reads issued receipts and matches each one to the corresponding donor and contribution amount already on file, applying the team's approved matching rule. Once matched, the agent files the receipt against the donor's giving record so it's ready whenever it's needed for reporting. Receipts that don't match an expected contribution, or that reference an amount not already on file, are set aside and routed to a person to sort out before filing.
