Saved-Link Roundups

Curated holds the links a person has saved through the week for an upcoming digest, ready to be pulled together into one place. A Beam agent triggers on the customer's approved schedule, such as the day before a weekly send, pulls the saved links together, and applies the approved ordering or category rule to group them for the draft. Links that don't fit an existing category, or arrive after the cutoff, are set aside and flagged for a person to place before the digest is finished.

Digest Layout Assembly

Curated digests follow a repeating structure of sections, each holding a set of links and space for commentary written by a person on the team each week. A Beam agent applies the customer's approved section structure to arrange the pulled links into that layout, leaving the commentary fields open for a person to fill in later on. Where a section would come out empty or overloaded with links, the agent flags the imbalance for a person to rebalance before the digest is finished and sent.

Send-Time Scheduling

A finished Curated digest still needs a person's commentary before it's ready to reach subscribers on the usual mailing list each cycle. A Beam agent checks whether the commentary fields are filled in against the customer's approved send checklist and updates the scheduled send time once every field is in place and ready to go. Where the commentary is still missing close to the scheduled time, the agent holds the send and notifies the person responsible instead of letting an incomplete digest go out.
