Crunchbase holds background details on companies, such as industry, size, and location, that a sales or research record often lacks when it's first created. A Beam agent triggers when a new account or lead is added, reads the matching Crunchbase profile, and applies the customer's approved mapping to fill in the missing fields on the CRM record. Where Crunchbase has no clear match, or the company details look out of date, the agent leaves the fields blank and sends the account to a person to check by hand.

Funding Round Tracking

Crunchbase records new funding rounds as companies raise them, which can be a useful signal for sales or partnership timing across a whole account list at once.
