Missing Field Enrichment

Contact Enhance fills gaps in a contact record, such as a missing job title, company name, or phone number, by matching against available data sources. A Beam agent reads an incoming or existing contact record, sends it through Contact Enhance, and applies the approved rule for which fields to accept and write back, such as only filling a blank field rather than replacing existing data. It updates the record so the next system that reads it, like a CRM, has a fuller profile. Matches with low confidence or conflicting information across sources get routed to a human to confirm before anything is overwritten.

Duplicate Field Reconciliation

When a contact appears with slightly different details across systems, such as two spellings of a company name or two phone numbers, Contact Enhance surfaces the discrepancy. A Beam agent reads both versions of the record, applies the approved rule for which source takes precedence, such as trusting the most recently updated field, and updates the record accordingly. It notes which value was kept and why, so the change stays traceable. Cases where neither source looks more current, or where the discrepancy affects a key field like billing contact, are routed to a human to settle.

Batch Record Enrichment

Contact Enhance can work through a batch of contact records at once rather than one at a time, useful when a list is imported from an event or a purchased list. A Beam agent reads the batch, applies the approved enrichment rule to each record, and writes back the enriched fields across the set, noting any records that returned no match. It updates the source list so downstream teams work from the completed version. Records that come back with no reliable match at all, or that hit an unusual volume of blank fields, are routed to a human to check manually.
