Rebalance a Coinbase wallet toward an approved target allocation, automating a check an operations or finance team otherwise runs on a spreadsheet.
Wallet Balance Monitoring
Coinbase reports the current balance of every asset held in an account. A Beam agent reads those balances on the schedule the customer sets, applies the approved rule, for example flagging a balance that moves outside a set range, and notifies the finance or operations owner. It can also update an internal ledger record so the figures stay current without a person logging into Coinbase directly. Any balance change tied to a dispute, a suspected error, or an unrecognized transaction is routed to a human to check.
Buy and Sell Order Execution
Coinbase supports placing buy and sell orders for supported cryptocurrencies through an account connected to Beam. A Beam agent reads the account's current position against the customer's approved target, and where account permissions allow it, places the order needed to bring the position back in line, such as a scheduled rebalance between two assets. It then notifies the finance owner that the order executed and at what price. Orders above an approved size, a new asset not yet on the approved list, or unusual market conditions are routed to a human before anything executes.
Transaction Record Updates
Every buy, sell, and transfer on Coinbase generates a transaction record with a timestamp, asset, and amount attached. A Beam agent reads new transactions as they post, applies the approved rule for categorizing them, and updates a connected accounting or reporting record so the figures match without someone re-entering them by hand. It can also notify the finance team once a batch of transactions has been recorded. A transaction that doesn't match an expected pattern or amount is routed to a human before it's categorized.
