Follow Cliento's booking calendar, confirming new appointments and reopening slots the moment a booking is cancelled.
Appointment booking and confirmation
Cliento stores each booking with its client, service, time slot, and status. A Beam agent reads new bookings as they come in and sends the approved confirmation, then updates the slot to booked so it no longer shows as available. It can also process cancellations by reopening the slot and updating the client's record. When two bookings land on the same slot or a client requests a change outside the standard rules, the agent does not resolve it alone; it routes the conflict to the person managing the calendar.
Availability and schedule updates
Cliento maintains the open time slots for each staff member or resource across the booking calendar. A Beam agent checks this calendar against a set trigger, such as a new working day or a cancelled appointment, and adjusts availability so clients only see accurate open slots. It keeps the public booking view aligned with the real schedule instead of manual edits catching up later. When availability changes conflict with an existing booking or a staff member's hours are unclear, the agent routes the update to the schedule owner instead of applying it.
Client booking history
Cliento keeps a record of each client's past and upcoming bookings, including services used and any notes attached. A Beam agent reads this history when a new booking is made and applies the approved rule, such as flagging a repeat no-show or a client due for a follow-up appointment. It updates the client record with the outcome of each visit. When a client's history shows a pattern outside the standard rule, such as repeated late cancellations, the agent routes the record to a manager rather than blocking the client itself.
