Funnel step tracking

ClickFunnels records which step of a funnel a contact has reached, from initial opt-in through checkout and any upsell pages. A Beam agent reads a contact's current step when a triggering event occurs, such as time passing since their last action, and checks it against an approved rule, such as sending a follow up after a set period of inactivity at a given step. Where the rule applies, the agent updates the contact's record or sends the scheduled follow up directly. Contacts stuck at a payment step, or showing repeated failed attempts, are routed to a person to check before further contact is made.

Order and checkout records

ClickFunnels logs each order placed through a funnel, including the product, amount, and payment status. A Beam agent reads new and updated orders as they come in, checking payment status against an approved rule, such as flagging a failed charge for retry or marking an order fulfilled once payment clears. Where the rule applies, the agent updates the order record or notifies the relevant team directly. Orders with a disputed charge, a refund request, or a payment method flagged as high risk are routed to a person before any change is made to the order.

Contact tags and lead scoring

ClickFunnels lets a contact carry tags and score values based on the actions they take inside a funnel, such as opening an email or completing a purchase. A Beam agent reads a contact's current tags and score when an action is recorded, checking them against an approved rule for how that action should update the contact. Where the rule applies, the agent adds or removes a tag, or adjusts the score, directly on the contact record. Score changes tied to a major purchase or a manual sales note are routed to a person to confirm before the record is updated.
