Product photo enhancement

Claid AI enhances product photos, adjusting elements such as lighting, background, and sharpness for e-commerce listings. A Beam agent sends a newly uploaded product photo through Claid AI when a listing is created and reads back the enhanced version once processing finishes. It applies the approved rule for which images qualify, such as photos below a minimum resolution, and writes the enhanced image into the product record. When the enhancement changes the product's appearance beyond what the rule allows, the agent flags the image for a person to approve.

Background editing for product images

Claid AI can replace or clean up the background behind a product in a photo. A Beam agent reads a product image after upload and checks it against an approved rule, such as requiring a plain white background for a specific catalog. It sends the image through Claid AI for the background edit and writes the resulting file back into the product listing. If the product is a category the rule does not cover, such as apparel needing a model shot, the agent leaves the edit to a person.

Bulk image processing

Claid AI can apply the same enhancement settings across a batch of product photos at once. A Beam agent gathers a set of newly added images that meet an approved condition, such as belonging to a new product collection, and sends the batch through Claid AI together. It writes the enhanced images back into each product record and notifies the merchandising team once the batch completes. When an image in the batch fails to process or looks distorted, the agent sets it aside for a person to handle individually.
