Member post and comment activity

Circle records posts, comments, and reactions inside a community. A Beam agent reads new posts or comments that match an approved condition, such as a keyword suggesting a support question, and writes a tag or response back into the thread. It can also notify a moderator when a post needs attention. When the content is ambiguous or touches on a sensitive topic, the agent leaves the reply to a person instead of posting on their behalf. The agent does not decide on its own whether to escalate a post, it only follows the keyword rule the team configured.

Community space organization

Circle organizes a community into spaces by topic, such as a discussion space or a course space. A Beam agent reads new members joining a space and applies the approved rule for what happens next, such as assigning a welcome tag or adding them to a related space. It writes the change back into the member's profile and notifies them if required. If a member's request does not match an existing space, the agent leaves the placement decision to a person. The agent does not create new spaces on its own, it only assigns members within the structure the team already built.

Event and course access

Circle tracks which members have access to a scheduled event or a course inside the community. A Beam agent reads access records after a member completes an approved condition, such as a payment or a sign up form, and grants or updates their access accordingly. It writes the change into Circle and sends a confirmation to the member. When a member's eligibility is unclear or a payment record does not match, the agent routes the case to a person to confirm access. The agent does not decide who deserves an exception, it only follows the access rule the team has set.
