Gallery and slideshow management

Cincopa hosts photo and video galleries that can be arranged into slideshows for a website or page. A Beam agent reads a gallery after new media is uploaded and checks each item against an approved rule, such as required captions or file naming. It writes updated metadata or ordering back into the gallery so it displays correctly. When a file is missing information the rule requires, the agent leaves that item out of the update and flags it for a person to complete. The agent does not decide the display order on its own beyond what the rule specifies.

Video player configuration

Cincopa lets a video player's settings, such as autoplay or branding, be configured per site or per player instance. A Beam agent reads the current player settings when a new video is added and applies the approved configuration for that site. It writes the settings to the player and notifies the team once the video is live. If a video needs settings outside the standard configuration, the agent leaves that decision to a person rather than guessing at the right setup. The agent does not experiment with settings outside the approved configuration, even if a different setup might look better.

Private video access control

Cincopa can restrict a hosted video so only approved viewers can access it. A Beam agent reads a request for private access, such as a new client needing a video link, and checks the request against an approved access rule. It writes the access permission into Cincopa and sends the viewer a link once granted. When a request falls outside the approved list of viewers or the video's restriction level is unclear, the agent routes the request to a person to approve. The agent keeps a log of which viewers were granted access and when, for later review.
