Task assignment inside chat

Chatwork lets a task be created directly from a chat message and assigned to a team member with a due date. A Beam agent reads new messages for a request that matches an approved pattern, such as someone asking for an approval or a document, and creates or updates the corresponding task in Chatwork. It writes the assignee and due date based on the rule it follows and notifies the person once the task is set. When the request is unclear or spans multiple people, the agent leaves the task creation to a person.

File sharing within conversations

Chatwork attaches files directly to a conversation so a team can share documents without leaving the chat. A Beam agent reads a conversation for a file that matches an approved type, such as an invoice or report, and links it into a related record once it appears. It writes a note back into the chat confirming the file was filed correctly. If the file name or content does not match what the rule expects, the agent asks a person to confirm before filing it. The agent keeps a record of which conversation a file came from for traceability.

Group messaging threads

Chatwork organizes conversations into group threads by team, project, or topic. A Beam agent reads messages in a designated thread for requests or updates that match an approved keyword or pattern, such as a status check or a handoff note. It writes a reply or updates a linked record to reflect what was reported in the thread. When a message is ambiguous or falls outside the pattern the agent was given, it leaves the thread for a person to respond to directly. The agent does not initiate new threads on its own and only acts within threads the team has designated for it.
