ChartHop pulls employee records from connected HR systems into a single org chart, covering reporting lines, titles, and headcount by department. A Beam agent reads this data whenever a new hire, transfer, or termination is recorded elsewhere, then updates the corresponding org chart entry so the structure reflects the current team. It checks that the change matches the approved format, such as correct manager assignment and department code. When a change looks incomplete, such as a new hire with no assigned manager, the agent notifies HR instead of guessing at the missing detail.

Compensation band tracking

ChartHop holds compensation data such as salary, equity, and pay bands tied to each role and level. A Beam agent reads this data to check whether an employee's pay falls within the approved band for their role and location, flagging any record that falls outside the range. It can update a tracking field once a review is confirmed complete. Because pay decisions carry real consequences for people, the agent never changes compensation figures itself, it only flags mismatches and routes them to HR or a manager for a final decision.

Custom HR report syncing

ChartHop builds custom reports that combine headcount, attrition, and demographic data across the connected systems. A Beam agent reads a report on a schedule, compares the latest figures against the prior period, and updates a shared summary or notifies a stakeholder when a metric, such as attrition in a department, moves past an agreed threshold. It applies only the comparison rule the customer has set up in advance. Where the underlying source data looks incomplete or conflicting between systems, the agent routes the report to HR for reconciliation before anyone acts on the numbers.
