Transcribe recordings into text

Castmagic takes an uploaded audio or video recording and produces a full transcript, which is the base file every other piece of content in Castmagic works from. An agent can watch a folder or inbox for new recordings, submit each one for transcription as soon as it lands, and attach the resulting transcript to the associated record, such as a podcast episode or a sales call. When a transcript comes back with heavy gaps, unclear speaker labels, or audio quality too poor to trust, the agent flags it for a person to check before anything downstream is generated from it.

Generate show notes and summaries

From a transcript, Castmagic can generate show notes, chapter markers, and summaries in a format the team has set up in advance. An agent requests this output once a transcript is ready, applying the approved template or style for that show or content type, then stores the result alongside the episode or shares it with the person who publishes it. This keeps show notes consistent across episodes without someone rewriting the same structure each time. Notes that come back incomplete, factually off from what was said, or missing required sections are routed to a person to correct before publishing rather than posted as generated.

Repurpose transcripts into new formats

The same transcript can be turned into other formats Castmagic supports, such as social posts, quote clips, or a blog draft, letting one recording produce several pieces of content. An agent requests the specific format the team has approved for a given recording, for example a social thread for a podcast episode or a summary for an internal call, and passes the draft to the content owner. Drafts that misquote the speaker or take a line out of context are sent to a person before anything is published externally.
