Generate scheduling links for meeting types

CalendarHero lets a team define meeting types, each with its own duration and a shareable scheduling link that invitees use to pick a time. A Beam agent creates or updates a link when a new meeting type is needed, such as onboarding calls or vendor reviews, and reads current availability before generating it. It records which link belongs to which purpose so the right one gets sent out. When a meeting type needs a change that affects existing invitees, such as shortening a slot already booked, the agent holds off and routes the change to the calendar owner.

Coordinate availability across multiple calendars

Group meetings often need to line up several people's calendars at once, and CalendarHero checks free and busy time across everyone invited. A Beam agent reads the combined availability when a group meeting request comes in, applies the scheduling rule the team set, such as preferring morning slots or a minimum notice period, and proposes or confirms a time. It logs which slot was chosen and why. When no slot satisfies every calendar or a required attendee has no free time, the agent stops proposing times and hands the request to the organizer.

Update meetings after they are booked

Once a meeting is on the calendar, details sometimes need to change, such as adding an attendee, moving the time, or attaching new notes. A Beam agent reads the current meeting record, applies the approved change, and updates CalendarHero along with any calendar the meeting is synced to. It logs the before and after state of the meeting. When a requested change would double book an attendee or fall outside working hours the team has set, the agent does not apply it and routes the request to a person instead.
