Log and archive team conversations and files

Brosix messages and shared files are held within a team's private network. A Beam agent can read conversation and file activity where account permissions allow it, applying an approved rule such as archiving messages older than a set period or tagging conversations that mention a specific keyword. It keeps a record without someone manually exporting chat history each time a review is needed. Conversations touching confidential topics, or any request to change what gets archived or how long records are kept, are left for an administrator to configure and approve directly.

Route requests raised in a chat channel

When a message in a Brosix channel matches an approved pattern, such as a colleague reporting an issue or asking for access to a resource, a Beam agent reads the message and applies the approved next step, for example creating a ticket in another system or notifying the right person. This turns routine requests raised in chat into tracked follow-ups without someone monitoring the channel constantly. Requests that are unclear, urgent, or outside the defined categories are left in the channel for a person to answer.

Manage user access across team channels

Brosix administrators control who has access to which channels and features. A Beam agent reads changes in team membership reported elsewhere, such as someone joining or leaving a team, and applies the approved access update, for example adding a new starter to the right channels or removing access once someone leaves the organization entirely. This keeps access aligned with the current team without a manual step each time someone's role changes. Any change to admin level permissions or security settings is left for an administrator to make directly.
