Score completed assessments against a rubric
Brillium records each candidate's answers and score once an assessment is completed. A Beam agent reads a finished submission, checks the score against the approved threshold for the role, and updates the candidate's status, such as marking them as passed or not proceeding, once the rule is clearly met. It can notify the recruiter of the outcome. Scores that fall close to the threshold, use a non-standard question type, or come from a candidate flagged for a technical issue during the test are routed to a recruiter to review manually.

Mixed results, where strengths and weaknesses cut against each other, are left for a recruiter to weigh directly rather than scored automatically.
Move candidate records forward once scored
Once a candidate passes an assessment in Brillium, that result usually needs to reach the next step, such as scheduling an interview or updating an applicant tracking record. A Beam agent reads the completed, scored result and updates the connected record or notifies the next person in the process automatically when the approved criteria are met. Where a candidate's data can't be matched to an existing record, or the result needs a second review because of a flagged irregularity during the test, a recruiter is brought in to decide.
