Manage constituent and donor records

Bloomerang holds a record for every constituent and their giving history. A Beam agent reads and updates these records as details change, for example adding a new constituent from a form, updating contact information, or merging obvious duplicates by your rule. It keeps the donor record accurate without a person retyping data from another system. Matches that are uncertain, such as two similar constituents, are routed for review rather than merged automatically, so donor history is never quietly corrupted.

Record and reconcile donations

Gifts arrive from many places: online forms, events, and imports. A Beam agent records a new donation against the right constituent, sets the fund, campaign, and amount by your rule, and checks it against the source so totals reconcile. It can trigger the next step, such as a receipt or acknowledgement, once the gift is recorded. Anything that does not reconcile, like a payment without a matching constituent, is flagged for a person instead of being posted incorrectly.

Log interactions and engagement

Bloomerang tracks touchpoints that show how engaged a donor is. A Beam agent logs interactions from connected systems, such as an email reply, a call outcome, or an event attendance, against the constituent record. This keeps the engagement timeline complete, so fundraisers see the full picture before they reach out. The agent records only the interaction types you define and leaves judgment about outreach and asks to the team.
