Create, read, update, and delete Amazon SES messages, templates, and delivery events, automating routine email work like sending transactional messages and acting on bounces.
Send transactional and bulk email
Amazon SES sends email from your verified domains at high volume. A Beam agent sends a message when a workflow reaches a point that needs one, such as a confirmation, notice, or follow up, using a template and the recipient data from the process. It can send single transactional messages or batches, applies the rule you approved for who receives what, and records each send against the source record, so there is a clear trail of what was sent and when.
Track delivery, bounces, and complaints
Every send produces events: delivered, bounced, complained, or rejected. A Beam agent reads these through SES notifications, updates the source record, and applies your rule, for example suppressing a hard-bounced address or pausing a sequence after a complaint. Repeated failures are routed for review rather than retried blindly. Acting on these events protects your sending reputation, which is what keeps future email reaching inboxes rather than spam folders.
Manage templates and sending identities
SES sends from verified identities and reusable templates. A Beam agent selects the right template and identity for a workflow, populates it with record data, and checks that the identity and region are configured before sending. It respects your sending limits, so a burst of messages is paced rather than rejected. Configuration that needs a decision, such as verifying a new domain, is surfaced to an owner instead of assumed.
