Guided Onboarding + Canvas Improvements

Guided Onboarding

New users no longer land in an empty workspace. Sign-up now collects your workspace name, industry, team size, and role, then hands off to a guided chat that turns what you need into a real agent. Integrations get connected in the chat, and View Agent opens your new agent with a first test task already running.

• A short stepper captures your workspace name, industry, team size, and role at sign-up

• Beam proposes a first agent from your role, then a guided chat builds it with you

• The agent speaks first, so there is no blank prompt to fill in

• Connect the integrations your agent needs inside the chat, before the agent is created

• View Agent opens the agent's Flow, where Beam AI runs a first test task on sample data

Improvements

• Search the workflow canvas by step name and the view moves straight to the step you pick

• Add different step types and branches inside a loop, not just one repeated step

• Re-point a connection by dragging its arrowhead onto another step, with no delete and re-add

• Upload your own icon for a tool and it shows on the workflow node and every other surface

• The model picker groups models by provider, with reasoning effort set inside each list

Bug Fixes

• Fixed integrations missing from the connection picker on steps and in the Beam AI chat

• Fixed the date picker closing on the first click, so a date range can be finished

• Fixed the add-step "+" placeholder staying behind when you dragged its step

• Fixed agent names being re-capitalised in the breadcrumb and in Cmd+K search results

• Fixed accuracy percentages showing long decimals on the analytics tiles and gauges
