Product Manager
About the Team
Beam’s product team operates at the intersection of AI, engineering, and real-world utility. We don’t just build features; we are defining how humans and agents collaborate. We work closely with customers to turn complex agentic workflows into intuitive, high-leverage tools. Our PMs are not just backlog curators, they are product architects who work hand-in-hand with engineering to solve ambiguous problems in a rapidly evolving technical landscape.
About the Role
We’re looking for an AI-native Product Manager to own a core vertical of the Beam platform. You will move beyond simple execution to define the "what" and the "why" of what we build.
In this role, you will act as a player-coach for your product area. You will be responsible for customer discovery, roadmap definition, and end-to-end delivery. Crucially, you will be a "power user" of our own technology, using Beam agents to automate the repetitive parts of product management (like sprint updates, data analysis, and ticket hygiene) so you can focus on strategy and user empathy. This is a role for a builder who wants to define the future of work, not just document it.
Responsibilities
Own the Roadmap: Define the product vision and strategy for your vertical, translating high-level business goals into actionable specs and prioritised roadmaps.
Deep Customer Discovery: Regularly engage with customers to uncover pain points, validate hypotheses, and ensure we are solving the right problems, not just the easy ones.
Lead the Squad: Partner deeply with Engineering and Design to drive features from concept to launch. You are responsible for the tempo and quality of your squad’s output.
Dogfood & Automate: Act as "Customer Zero." Design and manage internal Beam agents to automate your own PM workflows and stress-test our platform's capabilities.
Data-Driven Iteration: Define success metrics for your features. Monitor usage data to make informed decisions on when to iterate, kill, or double down.
Ruthless Prioritisation: Balance the needs of enterprise customers, technical debt, and long-term innovation in a high-velocity environment.
Requirements
3+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or complex technical products.
0-to-1 Mindset: You have experience taking a vague concept and turning it into a shipped product. You are comfortable with ambiguity.
Technical Fluency: You don’t need to write production code, but you must be able to discuss APIs, data models, and technical trade-offs with engineers.
AI-Curious / AI-Native: You actively use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, etc.) in your daily workflow and have a strong grasp of how LLMs and agents function.
Excellent Communication: You can write clear, concise specs and communicate complex ideas effectively to both engineers and executives.
Nice to Have
Experience building or managing products that utilise LLMs or Generative AI.
Background in workflow automation, low-code/no-code platforms, or developer tools.
Basic coding ability (Python/JS) to build your own prototypes or scripts.
Benefits
At Beam, we’re building an environment where ambitious people can do their best work, with clarity, purpose, and room to grow. We’re thoughtful about what we build, how we work, and who we hire. The problems we’re solving are real. The systems we’re building are complex. And the people here care deeply, about craft, about speed, and about doing work that actually matters. You won’t find rigid hierarchies or endless process here. You’ll find high trust, high standards, and a team driven by curiosity, ownership, and long-term thinking.
Our culture is shaped by our values in action:
AI-native thinking: Every teammate thinks in agentic workflows, uses AI tools daily, and looks for leverage through automation. AI isn’t just what we build, it's how we operate.
Customer obsession: We build with urgency and empathy, speak to customers early and often, and measure success through their outcomes.
Speed as a habit: We ship fast, learn faster, and prioritize unblocking over perfection. We favour small experiments with tight feedback loops.
Leverage-focused execution: We hire high-impact players, invest in the 20% that drives 80% of results, and value candid feedback.
Highly aligned, loosely coupled: We align on outcomes, not tasks. You’ll work independently, but never in isolation.
Data-driven, human-guided: We seek clarity over comfort, speak up early, and use feedback to grow together.
If this sounds like the kind of work you want to do and the kind of team you want to grow with, we’d love to hear from you!
